Phrygia, Hierapolis. Augustus. 27 B.C.-A.D. 14 AE 20 (20.37 mm, 8.76 g, 1 h). struck 10/9 B.C. P. Fabius Maximus, Proconsul of Asia; Zosimos Philopatris & Charax, magistrates. ΣЄBAΣ-TOΣ (CCW), bare head of Augustus right / ΖΩΣΙΜΟΣ ΦΙΛΟΠΑΤΡΙΣ ΙΕΡΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ ΧΑΡΑΞ, legend vertically downwards to right and left of lyre. RPC I 2929; BMC 97-8. Near VF, green patina, somewhat rough on reverse. Rare.
